Campbellsville Water & Sewer System is accepting applications for the position of Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator

 

Primary duties include operation and maintenance of a 4.2 MGD wastewater treatment plant.  Examples of duties are:  conducting process control analyses, plant maintenance/troubleshooting activities, properly collecting and analyzing samples, monitoring and adjusting chemical feed equipment, operating solids removal equipment, hauling sludge to landfill, maintaining proper records and reports, insuring compliance with state issued discharge permit, and miscellaneous duties as assigned by the supervisor.  The successful candidate is required to participate in the service watch, on-call program and complete training for a Class 3 wastewater operator license, progressing one level per year.  Applicants should have a valid Kentucky Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a high school diploma or equivalent.  A pre-employment background check and drug and alcohol screening are required.
