Veterans Memorial Park

Veterans Memorial Park provides numerous services and recreational opportunities. The Community Center may be rented for family reunions, wedding receptions, church functions, concerts, etc. Information concerning fees and scheduling is available by calling (270) 465-7729.

The park offers, softball fields, volleyball, shelters for picnics, walking trail, bicycling trail and a children's playground.

Moore's men were from Michigan and some Taylor Countians served under Confederate General John Hunt Morgan. Unfortunately for Morgan, history saw a stunning Union victory at the Battle of Tebbs Bend on Green River.
